SAVANNA DIAMOND CEMENT LIMITED

Savanna Diamond Cement (SDCL) is a cement company in Ghana that operates a 440,000 TPY cement plant in Buipe, using limestone from the region, and is part of the Diamond Cement Group. 

• The plant is a fully integrated process, using limestone mined in Buipe. 
• The plant was inaugurated by President John Mahama. 
• SDCL partners with GRIDCo for power supply, with a 25 MW substation, 7 MW of which is used by the cement plant, and the remaining 18 MW is available for the local community. 
• SDCL is part of the Diamond Cement Group, which also owns other cement plants in Ghana. 
• Diamond Cement Group also has plants in Aflao and Takoradi.
